Topping off a brilliant week for Emily Washer in the pool at the Australian short course national championships, she was selected to represent Australia at the World Short Course Championships.
Washer (20yrs) won the 200m butterfly on the last night at the championships which secured her selection on the team. The 2016 FINA world short course championships will be held in Windsor, Canada, 7-11 December.
Emily will swim the 100 and 200m butterfly along with the 4×100 medley relay. This is Emily’s first senior Australian Swimming team.
Congratulations Emily we are all very proud of you.
