Awesome 2016 Metro SC Results

What a fantastic weekend for the debut of the Narrabeen Carlile Swimming club at the Metropolitan Championships. An additional 19 Carlile swimmers participated at this year’s championships compared with last year. The team was ready to perform! The results and personal best times recorded were simply awesome. On the weekend Narrabeen Carlile Swim Club ventured down to Canberra for the Ginninderra Winter Short Course Meet. It was the first time competing under our new name and it sounded great coming over the PA system! There were 40 swimmers that competed in plenty of events. During the lunch break at 2016 Carlile Speedo Cup held on 5th June, all the swimmers presented Forbes and Ursula with a huge cake for their 95th and 80th birthdays. The Hancock Prospecting Australian Olympic trials Championships Adelaide April 7 to 14th 2016. This years Australian Swimming championships held in Adelaide doubled as the Olympic selection trials.
