Swimmers training at Narrabeen on Wednesday afternoon were treated with a wonderful surprise visit from a Rio Olympian. A member of the Gold Medal winning Australian Womens Sevens Rugby squad, Alicia Quirk, spent some time with some very lucky swimmers before their training session. Last weekend saw the first appearance of the Carlile Swimming Team at the NSW state open Championships. The Carlile Swimming Team (which is the combination of the three Carlile heritage clubs: Narrabeen, Cherrybrook and Ryde) dominated the point score with a total of 2260 points, with SOPAC (1097) in 2nd and Trinity (699) in 3rd place.
