During the lunch break at 2016 Carlile Speedo Cup held on 5th June, all the swimmers presented Forbes and Ursula with a huge cake for their 95th and 80th birthdays. Carlile swimmers excel at Nationals

2014 NSW Metropolitan SC Championships

This past weekend 64 Carlile athletes competed at the NSW Metropolitan Swimming Championships. Well done to all athletes and coaches on a tremendous performance as the Carlile Club captured our seventh consecutive Metropolitan Short Course Championship Title. After four days of high level competition at the 2014 Oceania Championships in New Zealand, Ami Matsuo returned home yesterday exhilarated from her courageous swims and outstanding results. 2014 Australian Age Swimming Championships

Last week the summer swimming season culminated with the 2014 Georgina Hope Australian Age Swimming Championships being held in our very own backyard at SOPAC. On the Wednesday night of 2014 Age Nationals, our young supporters group were taken “en masse” to SOPAC. They Cheered and clapped our swimmers to either TOP 10 Placings or Medals in almost every event that night. They were young, they were enthusiastic, and they were loud!…. see video. read more →

For six days, with heats in the morning and finals at night, the Carlile swimmers competed against the best swimmers in NSW and were successful in their title defence winning their 3rd consecutive NSW State Age LC Championship.
