2015 NSW State Age SC Championships

Over the past weekend 62 Carlile swimmers competed at the 2015 NSW State Age SC Championships. Congratulations to the Carlile team on an outstanding performance. First time under the minute for Emily Washer!

Those personal best times and club records continue to be smashed in NZ. Today Emily Washer reduced her personal best time by over one second in the 100m butterfly to 1.00.30 in the heats. 2015 Carlile Presentation Night

Ami was selected to be a member of the Australian Swimming Team at the 2015 World University Games being held in Gwangju, Korea from 4th to 11th July. Justin was selected as Team Coach. Last Saturday, 15 members of the Gold Squad met at Homebush to compete in the MS 24 Hour Megaswim. The swim is dedicated towards raising money for Multiple Sclerosis, an inflammatory disease in which the insulating covers of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord are damaged, and effects four people every working day.. read more →

Women’s 4 x 100m Freestyle Club Relay

The women’s 4 x 100m freestyle relay was convincingly won by Carlile in a time of 3:48.18. The strong team of Leanne Wright, Ami Matsuo, Emily Washer and Jessie Quinn held a body-length on Ravenswood throughout the race. 2015 State Open Championships

The Carlile Swimming Club competed at the 2015 New South Wales Open State Championships this past weekend. The standard of swimming was world class with teams competing from Australia and also internationally.
