
The 2016 NSW State Age SC championships were held at SOPAC from Friday through to Sunday, over the past weekend. Narrabeen Carlile had 70 athletes swim, competing against the best age group swimmers in NSW. Carlile were strong across the board, winning a total of 45 medals (17 gold, 14 silver & 14 bronze) and finishing 2nd in the point score.
There were many outstanding swims throughout the meet with many PBs achieved, and many top 10 swims attained. In particular we would like to recognise and congratulate all who won medals, Congratulations to: Hannah Baldwin, Brittany Barnes, Brandon Bartlem, Charli Brown, Vicki Cuthbert, Cooper Eakin, Dennis Hui, Nick Jennens, Thomas Kerr, Tyler Krenkels, Tom Lockhart, Claire Mathews, Lili Nicholls, Emilie Petersen, Joel Piper, Jenna Powell, Mia Rolfe, Naomi Scott, Seiya Saito, Evan Stratton, Jemima Stratton, Cara Sutherland, Kai Van Kool, Christine Washer and Zach Wong.
Going off these strong results we hope to have many of our swimmers representing NSW at the upcoming 2016 State Teams Age SC championships. Go NSW!!!
