2016 FINA World Short Course Championships

Emily Washer has been in Windsor, Canada – Representing Australia at the 2016 FINA world short course championships. Emily had many great swims and bought home a bronze medal! Emily competed in the 50m, 100m, 200m Butterfly, and the Womens 4×100 medley relay.

Emily had an outstanding meet, she did a great pb in the 50m fly heats (25.88) which saw her into the semi-finals, Emily finished 11th in the semis. In the 100m fly Emily had two excellent swims in the heats and then the semis which saw her through to the final. She had a good swim and finished in 7th with a time of 57.35! Again in the 200m fly Emily had an excellent swim in the heats, which saw her through the final. Emily finished 6th in the final with a time of 2:07.19!

Emily then swum the Butterfly leg in the Womens 4x100m medley relay team, alongside fellow Aussies: Emily Seebohm, Jess Hansen and Brittany Elmslie. The team won a bronze medal!
