Forty five swimmers met at Shelley Beach, Manly at 6.30am on 15th December. There were a few clouds around, the ocean was a little bumpy and all were ready to brave the ocean. On 8th and 9th December, more than 60 Carlile Swimmers competed at the 2012 NSW Grand Prix. This was a special meet as the swimmers got to mix it with the likes of James Magnussen and rest of the NSW Olympians.
